About Gilda Martinez Yaryes
Visual artist, interior designer and cultural attache. Born in Asunción, Paraguay, in 1957. Since 1983 she studied drawing and painting with Cira Moscarda (PY) and Judith Mc Lea (USA). In addition, Collagraff with Alicia Díaz Rinaldi (Arg), art paper manufacturing with Lawrence Barker (USA) and graphic design. I participated in the workshops of the TEI, the Paraguayan Museum of Contemporary Art and currently the Space for Research and creative process. I am part of the group of Artists of the Paraguayan Museum of Contemporary Art and currently belongs to the “People of Art” Group. His work is part of the collection of the TEXO FOUNDATION and PRIVATE COLLECTIONS. He made 17 individual exhibitions and countless group exhibitions encompassing the techniques of drawing, puncturing, screen printing, sublimated, collagraff, and interior installation. She has participated in itinerant exhibitions in Paraguay and abroad and by invitation in ART PALM BEACH, USA, Egypt, Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Uruguay
