About Robin Schneider
Colorado born and raised, Robin Schneider has always had a love for nature and the outdoors. “The weather is always changing and makes for the best one-of-a-kind moments, as though it was only for you. I simply try to capture that moment.” Schneider says when talking about his photography.
His work in the community is continually recognized because of his volunteering with non-profit organizations like the Haunted Mines and Just Be Colorado, and always asking “How can we…?”
Robin’s passion in his work can be seen in almost every aspect of what he does. There is an energy that is transferred from Robin when you see his smile and he gives you that amazing big bear hug! Talk with him for more than just “hello” and you will soon realize that Robin’s drive for life is genuine, and truly a gift he wants to share with you.
Although Schneider went through a life changing bout of cancer treatment, it will not define him. His legacy will be what he has done with life since then and how he documents it with his art. “I see the world differently now and I want to show it to you!”

Getting to know Robin
When did you know you wanted to be an artist?
I have always been a creative person but didn’t understand it was something I could make a living at until after cancer treatment about 10 years ago.
What do you think you would be doing if you weren’t an artist?
Cabana boy?… LOL
Could you tell us about your artistic background and what made you decide to become an artist?
Acrylic painter, custom airbrush work, children’s book illustrator in water colors, photography, curating and promoting art events and openings, managing galleries. Its just a natural fit!
What advice could you give to young artists starting out?
Always keep creating.
What project are you currently working on?
First Friday Art Walk events and so much more.At the gallery we have a movie filming and i got accepted to shoot the pikes peak hillclimb race in june. plus rock concerts and over all just day to day operations

Who inspires you the most?
I learn a little from everyone.
What is your greatest indulgence in life?
Currently it is cigars
Why do you love what you do?
The energy of the art world is amazing!
